Our Programs
From first steps to kindergarten-ready, our Sprouts and Blooms rooms meet each child exactly where they are — with primary caregiving, responsive educators, and a real garden to grow in.
Gentle, unhurried days where caregiving is the curriculum. A consistent primary Garden Keeper helps each toddler feel safe enough to explore and brave enough to try.
Big questions and bigger imaginations. Through inquiry, gardening, yoga and music in the garden, our preschoolers build confidence and skills meant to last forever.
We're an all-year program — open Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with full and part-time spaces and care continuing right through the summer.
Our Philosophy
Our Learning Garden is a space where everyone belongs. Just as different plants and creatures make a garden grow, different ideas, cultures, languages and learning styles make our community stronger. We call this our Living Garden Approach — learning that is responsive, evolving, and deeply connected to each unique child.
We believe strong relationships are the foundation of learning, with community at the heart of our days.
Children thrive when they are known, understood, and cared for as individuals. Through responsive relationships, we support each child's unique path of growth and learning.

Tucked into a leafy pocket of Saanich at 813A Claremont Avenue, our centre was designed for small bodies and big imaginations — calm, bright rooms that open right onto our own garden. We're open year-round, so care continues straight through the summer.
Meet the Team
Warm, qualified educators who tend our garden every day. They're the consistent, caring hands that help your little one feel safe enough to explore and brave enough to bloom.
An ECE with a Special Needs Certification, Majda co-founded Our Learning Garden on the belief that relationships are at the heart of early learning. She brings warmth, creativity and a love for the everyday moments of childhood.
An ECE with a Special Needs Certification, Elena brings energy, confidence and thoughtful leadership. She believes strong relationships help children grow, and loves weaving music, movement and yoga into joyful days.
Sarah brings enthusiasm, kindness and a hands-on approach to every day. She creates engaging experiences that build confidence and a love of learning, helping every child feel welcomed and ready to explore.
With several years in early learning, Sabrina brings wisdom, confidence and consistency. She values strong relationships with families, offering the guidance and structure that help children feel secure, supported and capable.
As an Infant Toddler Educator, Grace is passionate about supporting children through their earliest years of growth. She creates nurturing spaces where infants and toddlers feel safe and connected, celebrating the small moments that make the toddler years so special.
